PURPOSE SUMMARY:

The Senior Marketing Specialist provides valuable support to the Marketing and Sales team in various key areas within the financial services industry, including customer relationship management (CRM), digital platforms, events management, insurance product development, and customer renewal and retention strategy. This is a highly collaborative role, so exceptional leadership, interpersonal skills, and communication skills are a must as is the ability to roll up your sleeves and get ‘stuck in’ where required.                                                              

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Develop and execute an effective communication strategy, in collaboration with the Marketing Manager, to engage and retain existing and potential customers.
• Identify and integrate value-added insurance products by researching industry best practices
• Manage events, PR opportunities and communications to promote our client in the UK.
• Oversee the design and creation of comprehensive training materials for the internal sales and marketing teams, as well as external dealerships, ensuring that all team members possess the necessary product and process knowledge.
• Generate captivating and original content for the digital platforms, enhancing customer engagement and knowledge about our insurance products and services.
• After an initial period of around 6 months, take the lead of a small team of Marketing specialists to support the functions of the department
• Ensure seamless communication with our network of dealers by consistently updating dealer reports and performing ad hoc analyses as needed.
• Support the Marketing Manager in creating effective presentations for successful negotiations with potential partners.
• Manage the development of promotional merchandise and point of sales materials for our retailer network
• Perform any other duties as reasonably required by management.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years Marketing experience in a similar environment
• Strong communication, mentoring, and leadership skills
• Experience with all marketing mediums, including web, print, advertising, and social media platforms
• Strong command of PowerPoint and communications design
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Understanding of the financial services industry/motor industry is a positive but not a requirement
• Experience in digital marketing processes
