About Our Client

Our client is a well known and global Tech business based in central London. They have created a HR Services Manager to join their expanding team in London. 

Job Description

HR Delivery includes HR operations, analytics and systems, and requires a thorough understanding and knowledge of the employee data contained in the HR Information Systems (HRIS). This job ensures that analytics operates at the heart of the HR team, providing data and creating insights to drive operational and strategic decision-making.

  • Oversees the HR Assistants as custodians of employee data, and in servicing inbox queries.
  • Custodian of HR policies, updating them directly or through the HR Business Partners.
  • Oversees the HR budget ensuring overspend is escalated.
  • Supports the embedding of Standard Operating Procedures for HR operations processes, to ensure consistency in the end-to-end execution.
  • Works with wider HR operations team to deliver to agreed service level agreements, helping to report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to enable monitoring and reporting of service delivery.
  • Ensures the HR Operations function accurately process employee lifecycle instructions, including joiners, employment changes and leavers.
  • Custodian and author of policies to support operational HR activities and processes, ensuring alignment to relevant process documentation. Ensures policies are kept up to date, are in the appropriate templates and hosted on the relevant pages of the intranet, accessible to the intended employee groups. Drives the embedding of HR policies.
  • Drives UK reward, benefits and systems changes for alignment and consistency across the Group.
  • Supports the embedding of reward polices and practice, suggests enhancements to improve the employee experience in a cost-efficient way.
  • Develops and manages a suite of analytics reports to support enterprise and functional requirements

The Successful Applicant

  • Educated to degree level.
  • Professional qualification, together with a qualification in Human Resources – CIPD Level 5 or above desirable
  • Strong HR Operations experience in a similar-sized organisation
  • HR systems transformation / implementation experience
  • Sound understanding of UK employment law and an ability to apply these appropriately.
  • Experience of managing ER cases, initially providing advice to line managers, while training HR Assistants to provide first-line advice.
  • Experience of managing resources; people and financial.
