C9 Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Content and Digital PR Manager.

As a Content & Digital PR Manager, you are vital in developing and executing digital content strategies aligning with our client’s objectives overseeing content and digital PR activity. In addition, you will work closely with internal teams and external partners to create compelling content that works across various online platforms and channels, dealing with multiple stakeholders for approval and sign-off.

You are responsible for monitoring and analysing content performance from an SEO perspective and using data-driven insights to plan and optimise future content strategies. The Content & Digital PR Manager is a role model for leading and managing the content and Digital PR team and working collaboratively with other departments and freelancers, where necessary, to ensure consistency and delivery of assets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive content strategies for SEO that align with client business objectives, target audience and overall goals.
  • Researching, planning and creating a detailed roadmap for each campaign (including Digital PR/content plans) and monitoring campaign activity and performance
  • Manage your own client portfolio; startups, SMEs and larger businesses across a variety of industries
  • Leading, inspiring and managing the Content and Digital PR team conducting all performance reviews and developing progression plans, setting KPIs & objectives
  • Attending client meetings as required to deliver strategy advice, present ideas, and get stakeholder buy-in on campaigns and content ideas
  • Overseeing the production of high-quality content and supporting the planning, execution and management of Content and Digital PR activities, including developing and delivering strategies, creative campaigns, pitches and proposals to prospective new clients
  • Providing campaign support, including project management, sourcing freelancers, content audits and planning, compiling accurate and insightful reports and liaising regularly with clients to ensure deliverables are to the required standard
  • Work closely to support the SEO Manager and SEO Consultants with SEO strategy implementation, ensuring content and Digital PR activity is aligned with wider SEO efforts.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices/guidelines for content and content marketing
  • Provide regular updates/reports on content performance and make recommendations for improvements.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of Digital PR and Content Executive/Manager experience
  • Proven ability to translate brand strategy and client objectives into engaging content
  • Excellent writing, editing, proofreading and content creation skills across multiple channels
  • Experience with executing outreach/pitching digital PR campaigns to press
  • The ability to think creatively and strategically and perform insightful multichannel analysis and reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using platforms such as Ahrefs, SEMRush, as well as Google Search Console and Google Analytics
  • Understanding of SEO best practices for content
  • Experience conducting keyword research to identify content opportunities and optimising content for SEO purposes
  • Excellent presentation and consultative skills
  • Ability to influence, advise and build relationships with all stakeholders
  • Exceptional organisational and project management skills and the ability to operate across multiple projects in a fast-moving culture

Nice to haves:

  • Experience working within a B2B marketing agency/with B2B clients
  • Relationships with journalists/key contacts your think you could pitch a story to
  • Experiences doing digital PR from end-to-end (ideation/strategy, research, press release writing and outreach)
  • Experience using Cision as a media database
