Pre-Sales AWS Architect – Tech Consultancy – Remote Work

A top-tier and rapidly expanding public cloud MSP in the UK is on the hunt for a skilled Pre-Sales Architect. As an AWS expert, you will contribute to the growth of their cloud services, create and implement cutting-edge solutions, and drive customer opportunities and strategic initiatives that widen the company’s clientele and fortify relationships.

Your responsibilities include staying at the forefront of public cloud and related technologies, producing and delivering technical pre-sales and consultation in the domains of Public Cloud and DevOps methodologies and tools, including continuous integration and deployment, automation, and containerization. You will advocate and advance the firm’s unique strategic business and innovation-centric approach both internally and externally, while consistently building the practice’s expertise and abilities.

This primarily remote position is based in the UK, with occasional office and client visits. The salary range is £100,000 to £130,000, accompanied by an attractive bonus and an impressive benefits package.

Requirements:

• Demonstrable experience in AWS architecture, strategy, automation, containerization, CI/CD, and testing.
• Proficiency in various DevOps tools, such as CICD, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
• Engineering background with knowledge of at least one scripting language, e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash, etc.
• Established history of managing and generating a portfolio valued over £2M+.
• Familiarity with Hybrid Cloud and the transformation and modernization of legacy IT systems.

Desirables:

• Expertise in associated technologies, e.g., Azure, GCP, DevSecOps, Cyber Security, AI/Data, Governance, etc.
• Certifications in major public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Certifications in DevOps tools.
