About the role
The role is part of the Performance Marketing team where you will own digital marketing campaigns to deliver the client’s UK Direct Sales target.
In this role, you will create and manage impactful marketing campaigns, predominantly across search, social and display. Using performance marketing best practice you will manage performance and efficiency with agency support. This role will also have full ownership of creative production across all channels, planning media and reporting on performance.
Accountabilities
- Using Excel & other reporting tools in order to carry out day-to-day job functions (including reporting, data analysis and campaign development)
- Work with the media agency to set up campaigns for Google and Facebook ads according to best practices, including
- Keyword research
- Audience research
- Creative recommendations
- Budget recommendations
- Optimise campaigns in line with performance targets, including
- Bid optimisations (adjusting automated bid strategies and targets)
- Search Query Reporting
- Ad optimisations
- Audience analysis
- Create & own your test roadmap
- Analyse the data, giving insights into campaign performance and recommend optimisations to deliver to KPIs
- Support the team in managing campaign budgets throughout the month via collating relevant information and keeping systems up to date
- Collaborate closely with other marketing teams, digital product, data science and sales colleagues
- Keep up to date with the latest digital marketing trends
- This role will require you to project manage our progression to digital maturity via our marketing tech stack where you will work with our media agency, third party ad tech providers and various stakeholders internally
Skills required
- Experience of planning and executing Google Ads campaigns and a good knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Data Studio.
- Solid understanding of digital marketing tracking and measurement
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills – formula / pivot tables / building simple models / dashboards
- Enjoy working with numbers & an analytical mindset
- Clarity in presenting data & ideas to others
- Ability to work as a team, sharing your successes and more importantly failures (we can’t be afraid to make mistakes and share them)
- Proactive attitude
- Worked in a cross-functional team with other disciplines. For example product managers, developers, data scientists and sales.
